    Technology can be a great tool in the classroom, such as with SmartBoards, Internet videos, virtual field trips, PowerPoint, etc.

    But in response to the students struggling with schoolwork because of their overuse of video games, text messaging, etc., I have 4 words: WHERE ARE THE PARENTS?!? Dependence on technology is a learned behaviour, not an organic one. There has to be a limitation set by the parents or children will become overloaded & unable to learn basic skills necessary for success in higher education.
