The following videos are a short documentary entitled "The Divine Jane". The Morgan Library & Museum of New York City filmed this documentary on the writings of Jane Austen to accompany an exhibit for the Spring 2010 season. I believe teachers of Austen and teachers of writing alike will appreciate the way the filmmakers highlighted the fact that Jane Austen's writings have stood the test of time (200 years worth of time!). I would like to challenge all educators to follow Ms. Austen's influence to become timeless in their teaching, grounding their ideals in proven methods while never stopping their research.
